We came to a hackathon with AI agents and no clear idea what to build. The journalists in the room had the opposite problem: plenty of investigations, not enough hours to search contracts, companies, ownership records, and the same public databases again and again.
So we did not build another SaaS. We cleaned the data and packaged the research workflows as skills an agent can use—material journalists could take with them and apply to real cases. Was it 10× faster? 100×? Pick your favourite AI multiplier. The useful part is that the work became reusable.
